Former Radio Producer Sentenced to Prison on Child Porn Charges

DAYTONA BEACH – A former employee of a local radio station was sentenced to 5 years in a state prison facility following his conviction on 15 felony charges related to possessing child pornography. Chand Worob, 25, plead no contest to all 15 counts as charged in the Information. Upon release from prison, Worob will be placed on 10 years’ sex offender probation and will be required to register as a sex offender.

 

            Assistant State Attorney Laura Coln, of the State Attorney’s Office Career Criminal Unit, prosecuted the case. Seventh Circuit Judge Terence Perkins presided over the case and pronounced sentence.
