St. Augustine Man Convicted of Sexual Battery Charges

PUTNAM - Michael Wilson, 46, of St. Augustine, was convicted after a one-day jury trial. Wilson faces a maximum possible penalty of 30 years in a state prison facility at a sentencing hearing set for May 10, 2016. A Pre-sentencing investigation was ordered and Mr. Wilson was remanded into custody pending sentencing.

 

Assistant State Attorney Rebecca Emert prosecuted the case with Assistant State Attorney James Nealis. Judge Clyde Wolfe presided over the case and will pronounce sentence on May 10, 2016.
