DAYTONA BEACH – During a hearing this afternoon, defendant Christopher Crouthamel was sentenced to the maximum of 100 years in Florida State Prison. Crouthamel was found guilty as charged by a Volusia County jury in October of eight felony counts: two counts of Lewd or Lascivious Battery Sex Act on a Child 12 or older but younger than 16, two counts of Traveling to Meet a Minor, two counts of Possession of Sexual Performance by a Child and two counts of Soliciting a Child or Person Believed to be a Child for Unlawful Sexual Conduct Using Computer Services or Devices.
