Investigator T.C. McIntosh Receives Award from Florida Attorney General

TALLAHASSEE – Seventh Circuit State Attorney Investigator T.C. McIntosh was one of three law enforcement personnel honored during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week with a statewide award.

McIntosh accepted the 2024 Distinguished Victim Services Award from Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody Tuesday in Tallahassee.

Investigator McIntosh is assigned to our White-Collar Crime Unit. His unique financial skillset provides the foundation for him to investigate complex crimes through financial analysis of bank accounts, tax documents, personnel and business records.

In 2023, McIntosh completed six complex financial investigations involving six different defendants who defrauded more than 97 victims. In total, there was more than $5,636,823 in losses. These investigations were all successfully resolved with criminal prosecutions, restitutions and/or seizure/recovery of funds. This is in large part because of McIntosh’s hard work and dedication to going beyond his call of duty to preserve the rights of crime victims.

State Attorney R.J. Larizza attended the award ceremony to support Investigator McIntosh.

“T.C. McIntosh is a humble man with extraordinary skills regarding complex financial fraud,” Larizza said. “His tenacity and expertise are unmatched in our circuit and beyond! We are all extremely fortunate to have a man of his character and quality rooting out and exposing a myriad of fraudulent schemes that plague our society.”
