DOB: 01/07/1956

Case Number: 2018 304877 CFDB

Davis sentenced to 12 years for sexual battery on a child

DAYTONA – This morning, Circuit Judge Matthew M. Foxman sentenced David Lee Davis to 12 years in a state prison facility for sexual battery on a child.

In 2018, Davis invited the child victim to his residence. There, he repeatedly touched the victim’s genitals and performed oral sex on the victim. After the incident, the victim courageously came forward and told a friend—who informed law enforcement.

Assistant State Attorney Ashley Terwilleger prosecuted the case and Judge Foxman presided over the case. A Volusia County jury previously found Davis guilty of sexual battery on a child in November 2019.
