Fox indicted on First-Degree Murder for Holly Hill apartment shooting

DELAND – The Volusia County Grand Jury heard the case of Jason Fox today. The defendant is accused of firing several shots into a Holly Hill apartment unit in the early morning hours of August 2, 2021. The two tenets were both shot and one of them later died from their injuries at the hospital.

The indictment was handed down on Friday morning. Fox was charged with First-Degree Murder, Attempted First-Degree Murder and Shooting into a Dwelling.

The case was investigated by the Holly Hill Police Department. Assistant State Attorney Andrew Urbanak is the prosecutor for the state.
