DAYTONA BEACH – A Volusia County Jury comprised of 4 women and 2 men took only nineteen minutes to convict a Daytona Beach woman of DUI Causing Death today, October 1, 2015. Sandra Dee Heilman, 44, faces 15 years in prison following the conviction at a sentencing date to be set.
On November 10, 2012, Sandra Dee Heilman was operating a 2007 Ford Fusion that rear-ended 22-year-old Laura Hrobsky, who was stopped at a red light. Hrobsky was pronounced dead at the scene.
